As I have been experimenting with different slogans for my bunting I thought back to the famous 'Keep Calm and Carry on' war posters. I like the idea of using this idea, yet changing the message to relate to my project. When working at The Mustard Tree on the soup run, it wasn't just about the food, but also warmth. We regularly would give out socks and blankets to those on the streets and I like the idea of using these items to stitch or paint a message onto. I quite like the idea of using 'Keep Warm and Carry On' as keeping warm is of constant importance when living on the streets. I plan on using this message initially with socks and blankets and then see how it develops.
