New Year, New Knitting

I have often used knitting in my work, particularly knitting with unusual materials such as plastic bags, bin bags, string and newspaper and I find it a really good method of working. Here are some examples of knitting I have done in the past and recently. 

I like the idea of combining projection with knitting and using as a print design for clothing. The idea being, for instance, that a t-shirt looks knitted but it is actually the design of the top. Hopefully, once back at university I can use the photography studio to achieve this. I have tried to do something similar before, but like the idea of developing this further and to go back to my knitting, which I haven't done in a while!
